They are designed to fit even the widest calf and, yet, not bind or restrict the wearer's vascular circulation. The miracle stretch fibers make them resistant to slipping on the ankle.

"I cannot recommend the Simcan Comfort Merino Wool Mid-calf Sock. I have worn this sock for years. They are comfortable from the start, wear well for several years. I especially like the fact that they do not sag. Always wash them with like colors and fabrics."

"I am not diabetic. I bought one pair of these socks when a friend recommended them. I hate where other socks bind at the top. (Target used to sell a compression sock that didn't compress much and I loved it. But then they stopped selling it. ) For months, my one pair of these was the only socks I wanted to wear. I finally bought 5 more pair of these. I am so happy to have comfy warm socks."

"I purchased several pair of these earlier this year. Initially they were great - looked good, felt good and did not bind at the top. Within 3 wearing, they started to deteriorate - some unraveling at the top and easily developed holes in the heal area. Also I have ordered quite a few socks here over the past few years. I chose this as they were not all cotton."
